ALG´OUT does not contain any herbicide, pesticide or antibiotic, it is completely harmless to the inhabitants of the tank (fish, invertebrates, bacteria and plants). Algae are seen as a real scourge by many aquarists, yet they are naturally present in freshwater aquariums as in all natural aquatic environments. Algae appreciate imbalances, too much light or not enough, increase in the temperature of the tank, addition of new fish or plants, cleaning of the filtration, etc. There are multiple opportunities for development. Wanting to eradicate them with heavy chemical treatments such as herbicides or pesticides (Monolinuron for example) or worse by using antibiotics (against cyanobacteria). This also kills all the useful microorganisms present in your aquarium. And seriously unbalances your tank in the long term. And therefore ultimately encourages the return of algae.
