The Runa Commitment Tee is your perfect soft and stretchy everyday women´s t-shirt. The front of the t-shirt features an updated version of the Klättermusen logo and the back of the t-shirt holds a vintage Klättermusen illustration. Thanks to the composition of organic cotton and elastane, the t-shirt will hold its original shape through washing and tearing. Conventional cotton is considered one of the most polluting crops due to the heavy use of pesticides and insecticides in production. There are also concerns regarding worker’s rights, child labor and unsustainable water consumption. Organic cotton is grown without any pesticides, chemical fertilizers or GMO crops. Instead methods like beneficial insects and mechanical weeding help to reduce the environmental strain on the crop. Cultivation is done with care for the environment, and workers are protected from hazardous chemicals in their work, and also the surrounding communities by preventing the pollution of drinking water. We work with two different third-party certifications for organic cotton: GOTS-certification, the highest possible certification in the world of organic cotton, and the EU Council Directive on Organic Farming.
