The Dagr SS tee is made from our Quick Drying Wuru® Jersey, which is a blend of Merino wool for its naturally climate-controlling properties mixed with Coolmax® fiber technology, providing a cooling and moisture-wicking quality. It comes in a regular relaxed fit with short sleeves for increased airflow and has strategically placed seams to avoid chaffing. With reflective branding on the front and back for added safety. Wool is one of the most versatile fibers, with several unique properties. It is naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial. It is therefore highly odor resistant and will keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. It can absorb almost one-third of its own weight in water, making it excellent for moisture wicking, since it stays warm even when moist. Blended, or mixed wool means we also add, for instance, Polyamide, polyester or Tencel™ to get the desired qualities we want in the resulting fabric.We use wool from different sources depending on the purpose, placement and desired performance. From the thin, soft and curly Merino wool, which is excellent for close to body contact, to the strong Icelandic wool, mostly used for padding.Wool fibers have small, barbed scales that raise and tangle the fabric when washed in warm water. This is why wool products commonly shrink and felt. We use a chlorine-free treatment to remove these scales, making the fabric easier to wash. This also reduces the harmful environmental effects of chlorine. We also use recycled wool in some of our padding and mid-layers. Oculus®: - Oculus® is the group name for our polyester apparel fabrics, produced in accordance with our strict requirements for sustainability and quality. These fabrics can include a mix of polyester or Elastane to get the desired qualities. Polyester has close to no water absorption, high abrasion resistance, high tensile strength and is very wrinkle resistant. This makes it ideal for use in outdoor packs and apparel. Care Instructions: Washing & Care: - Machine wash inside out on gentle cycle at 30°C. - Iron at a maximum temperature of 110°c. - Steam iron may cause irreversible damage. Do not bleach or dry clean.
