The mysterious base connects woody and spicy accords, among which the smoky sweet smell of vetiver stands out. The fragrance is inspired by Japanese culture and is named after the protagonist of the novel La Bataille, set in the early 20th century, which tells the story of a beautiful married Japanese woman who falls in love with a British officer.
