The STORM cape is a fundamental piece of clothing for every passionate cyclist who may find himself facing the most adverse weather conditions. To ensure maximum protection from bad weather, the cape is made with the special CRISTAL fabric, a membrane that has various technical characteristics that make it waterproof, breathable and comfortable. First, the hydrophobic treatment ensures that the fabric is waterproof, preventing water from penetrating. Waterproofing is measured in water column, in this case 10,000 mm, which indicates the ability of the fabric to resist water pressure without it penetrating inside. In addition, the presence of sealed seams with silicone reinforcement on the shoulders ensures that there are no weak points where water can infiltrate. The breathability of the fabric is equally important to ensure maximum comfort during use. With a breathability of 10,000 g/m2/24h, the cape allows perspiration from the body to evaporate, preventing the formation of condensation inside the garment. The covered front zip prevents water from entering through the zip, while the long sleeves and anatomical cuffs with elasticated bottom ensure a snug and comfortable fit, preventing cold air from penetrating inside. The longer back of the cape is designed to protect against water splashes, while the elasticated garment ensures a snug and comfortable fit. The REFLEX prints increase the visibility of the garment in low light conditions, while the internal mesh shoulder pad promotes breathability, avoiding the formation of condensation inside the garment.
