DEVIR Escape Board Game

Your party of adventurers is locked in a cursed temple. And we all know how the story ends if we don´t escape in time. Together you will have to activate the magic stones in the different chambers of the temple to end, once and for all, its curse and escape before it completely collapses. And all this in less than 10 minutes. Designed by Kristian Amundsen Østby (one of the authors of Revive) and illustrated by Oliver Schlemmer (Fresco, Kingdom Builder), Escape is a real-time cooperative game. Where there are no turns or rounds. Up to 5 players, ages 8 and up, will roll dice and move around the temple looking for the exit and using magic stones. Each of you will roll his 5 dice as many times and as fast as he can without having to wait for the others. You only have 10 minutes to escape from the temple before it collapses. Different combinations of dice results will allow you to enter the temple and discover new chambers while you search for the exit. Torches, keys, and adventurer symbols will allow you to move and unlock rooms, but black masks will block you. In some of the chambers you will find magic stones. You will have to try to activate as many as possible with the help of your dice to end the curse that prevents you from leaving the temple. The sooner you find the exit and the more magic stones you activate, the easier your escape will be. The game includes a soundtrack, which, in addition to setting the scene for the adventure, also serves to mark the 10-minute limit of the game. You will have to pay close attention as, twice during the game, a gong will ring announcing a countdown. It will be the signal to return as soon as possible to the entrance chamber, since only there will you be safe. If you don´t make it before the countdown ends, you will lose one of your invaluable dice. Unity is strength, so you must agree and help each other to solve together the problems that arise, since it is enough for just one to get trapped in the temple for you all to lose. To adapt to any gaming group, Escape allows you to adapt the level of difficulty before each game you can add or remove magic stones from the ark so that the experience is more adapted to your experience and skill. This edition also includes two expansion modules that can be used separately or all together. With the Treasures module, some rooms will contain chests with valuable items that players can use later, from keys that allow teleportation to first aid kits that heal players, returning the dice with the black mask in play. On the other hand, the Curse module adds tokens that will affect players when they enter certain rooms. Curses will force players to do certain actions, such as placing a hand on their head for the rest of the game or remaining silent. Escape is an ideal game for fans of archaeologist adventures. In true Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider or Uncharted style, the setting of Escape will transport you to a lost temple in ruins. The game mechanics, on the other hand, will force you to cooperate if you want to win, but without turn order and rolling dice all at once, it will be important to pay attention to what your teammates are doing and communicate well.
