Comfortable and soft balaclava for full head and neck protection. Ideal for wearing under a helmet, it provides an ideal base layer for protection against the cold during activities such as bouldering, climbing and hiking. Specifications: - Composition: 95% Polyester, 5% Elastane. Technologies: Moisture management: - Sweat and moisture are transported through the fabric away from the skin. Provides comfort and helps keeping body temperature stable. Recycled polyester: - Chopped plastic bottles become chips, ,melted chips become fiber and Recycled Fiber becomes polyester we use in our products. 4 way stretch: - Products created using fabric stretchable in all directions for an improved comfort and better fit. Sun protection: - Protection against the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) radiation. SILICONE BAND Samples of fabrics have been tested for UV protection in accordance with the standard AS/NZS 4399:1996 “Sun protective clothing Evaluation and Classification”, results achieving UPF>50 (98% UV protection). Protection may be lessened if fabric is stretched, wet or old.
