Approved under the new UN R129/03 (i-Size) regulation, the Britax Römer DISCOVERY PLUS highback booster is a practical, lightweight and safe model for children from 100 to 150 cm.
Designed and produced in Germany, this car seat is quick and easy to install thanks to the new Isofix connectors, although to fit more vehicles it can also be attached directly to the vehicle´s 3-point belt.
Side impact protection.
Britax Römer highback boosters protect the child in three ways:
the car seat shell offers protection from the head to the hips.
the upper and lower guides ensure that the 3-point belt is positioned correctly over the shoulders and pelvis.
and the padded headrest provides safety and comfort for the occupant´s head and neck.
Ergonomic headrest.
The headrest has been specially designed to offer greater comfort for children and can be easily adjusted to the optimum height, just above the shoulders.
The headrest has practical markings at the back to help parents adjust the headrest to the right position each time they change car seats or if they are transporting different children in the same seat.
Adjustable backrest.
The adjustable backrest allows you to match the angle of the vehicle seat, providing a better fit and a comfortable position for the child.
Installation with Isofix or belt.
The installation of this car seat is quick and easy thanks to the new Isofix connectors, which are attached individually.
This new system is particularly practical for vehicles where Isofix anchorages are difficult to find.
An audible click and a green indicator show that the Isofix connector is correctly positioned.
The DISCOVERY PLUS can be installed with Isofix, in combination with the 3-point belt, in i-Size approved seats or those listed in the Britax Römer Fit Finder.
To fit more vehicles, it can also be installed with a 3-point belt, for which it has universal approval.
However, a trial installation is recommended.
Removable cover.
It is easy for the car seat to get dirty:
a drink may be spilt or the child may become dizzy.
We have designed a cover that can be easily removed and machine washed.
Three seats in a row.
Thanks to its 44 cm width, it is possible to fit three car seats in the rear seats of many vehicles, especially if they have i-Size or Isofix seats in all three seats.
