The same qualities that make our helmet light, comfortable and safe also make it eco-friendly. With the ECO-REACT MIPS®, we are challenging the traditional way of making helmets, replacing some plastic and petroleum products with organic materials to reduce environmental impact . We have added cork to the EPS, we have used recycled plastics for the shell, and natural fibers such as cotton fabrics and bamboo fiber lining. This is our first stage in responding to the needs of cyclists who want to lead an active lifestyle in the city while helping the planet. Avid Progressive EPS To develop helmets that perform against all kinds of impacts, details are key. High-density EPS ensures large impacts are effectively absorbed. Low-density EPS, however, provides superior performance against less severe impacts. Bollé helmets with AVID liner technology use a combination of different EPS densities and/or optimization of ventilation channels to virtually decrease density in the upper. The result is a lighter, better ventilated helmet with progressive shock absorption that will absorb a wider range of impacts * compared to a standard EPS liner with a uniform thickness. Click-to-fit® system The Click-to-fit system offers the possibility of adjusting the size of the helmet with precision. You can adjust the pressure to your head for perfect stability.
