Sanctuary: Age of Guardians is a fast-paced, deck management card game for 1-2 players. In the dark fantasy world of Elnerth, we find ourselves in a time of war and wonder: The Age of Guardians. The Guardians are fighting to preserve their Essences, ancient energies that they can channel and command through the Sanctuaries. You are one of the Guardians and your goal is to prevail over the others by summoning your army of Acolytes and destroying their Shrines. Choose from one of six unique Factions and find your Legendary Champion chosen from among the most loyal and talented devotees. Join the fight and fulfill your destiny: who will be the last one standing. Features: - There are four types of cards in Sanctuary: Acolyte, Champion, Ritual, and Sanctuary. - Acolytes are soldiers and creatures that you summon onto the battlefield to attack and defend Shrines. Many of them also have special abilities. - Champions are the most powerful characters in each Faction. - Rituals can deal direct damage, disrupt enemy formations, or allow for strategic maneuvers. - Shrines are intermediate points for channeled energy. Once they reach their minimum Decay, their powers affect the entire battlefield. Destroying all enemy Shrines is the winning condition of the game. - Your deck is the set of cards you have chosen to play against an opponent. A valid deck must contain exactly 28 cards between Acolytes and Rituals, plus 1 Champion that is kept out of the deck. You can play with a standard Faction deck, made up of only specific Faction cards, or you can build a deck with all the cards in your collection. In the first case, consider a limit of 2 copies of each card maximum. In the latter case, you can only choose a single copy of each card.
